The web page for the issue at the bottom of this page.

Alongside the print magazine, we publish a digital version of the magazine every month.
An example of the digital issue in the flipbook is at the bottom of this page.
The digital magazine publishing includes an interactive PDF in a flipbook, an email, article posts on the first and throughout the month, the monthly honey price report, and various updates to other pages and forms.Near the end of the month, I will go through the InDesign document to make sure all of the interactive elements are created. This includes links, emails, page numbers, etc.
Once that is done, I will export the Interactive PDF and upload it to both HeyZine and WordPress.
From there, I will create the flipbook in HeyZine. In the flipbook, I will make last-minute additions that can't be done in InDesign, like embedding the audio for our audio articles.
After the flipbook is finished, I embed the flipbook into a new page on our website for that issue.
Then I will go through and post the individual articles for that issue that we are making available to the public. This includes audio articles with other articles being posted every Monday of the month. The recipe is always posted on the last Sunday of the month. During this process, I will also create the feature images for each post so they can be added to the rotating articles on our home page. Whenever there is a table, I will code that into the page using the HTML editor in WordPress.
After the website is all scheduled, I create the Digital email for our subscribers in FloDesk. This includes updating links for that issue, the front cover, etc.
On the first itself, I will go through and update all the live pages. This includes the latest issues page, the monthly honey price report master page, and more. I will also make sure to update our Instagram Linktree to reflect the new issue and add all the new audio articles to the Audio Feedback Form.
After everything is published, I will also handle all of the submissions to our Digital Edition Issue Form. We made this available so subscribers have an easy place to submit feedback if they are having problems. These include blurry images, fuzzy text, and more.
As needed, I also go through the complex process of creating a DOI for an article series (ABRC). We have a large organization print their research abstracts from a yearly conference in our magazine. This is very important in the industry and, at their request, I create the DOI for that.
